About Sudarshan Gautam
Sudarshan Gautam is a Nepali-born Canadian mountaineer, motivational speaker, and advocate whose life is a powerful story of resilience and courage. After losing both his arms in a tragic accident at the age of 15, he refused to let limitations define him. Through determination, he learned to live independently using his feet and went on to become the first double above-elbow amputee to summit Mount Everest in 2013. Today, he continues to inspire communities across Canada through his advocacy, his book I’m the Everest, and his mission Run for Unity, spreading hope, inclusion, and the belief that disability is not inability.
